    Beach Blonde by Brianna Olcese

    Pro Tip

My favorite curling iron is GHD Pro 1 1/4" ... Curl your hair away from your face in 1/2 inch sections. When completed let cool and brush through with the Beach Blonde brush. Add some texture spray (I love the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray ) creating those beachy waves everyone LOVES!

    Pro Tip:
Eva swears by setting her blowouts with Ibiza round brushes through the mohawk section for volume that lasts for days.

  • Alexa Avilla

    Color & Cutting Specialist

A native Santa Barbarian who has been in the stylist industry for over 20 years.  She has worked in both the San Francisco area and in Santa Barbara.  Alexa began her career in the heart of San Francisco, assisting top stylists in a busy downtown, (high-end) salon.  After owning a successful salon in Larkspur, CA, she moved back to Santa Barbara to raise her two daughters and continue her craft.  She is dedicated to helping others look and feel their best.  Taking and teaching classes are also passions of hers’. She has had extensive experience with studying at both the Vidal Sassoon Academy as well as The Bumble University.  She feels incredibly fortunate and grateful to have found such a fun, creative and fulfilling career working with the amazing and talented SB Salon family.

    Pro tip:

For volume, blow-dry the roots first, lifting them with your fingers. When you start with the lengths, you pull down on wet roots, flattening them out. Vomunista by Oribe or Anti Gravity by Kevin Murphy help hold that root lift, saying goodbye to flat, lifeless hair.

    Pro Tip!

Always rough dry your hair until 80 percent dry before styling and for volume, add one 2” velcro roller at your part.on goes here
